| We believe that any
and every name should be a reflection of the nature and character of
the person or entity being named. Therefore, prior to MJ and I
making the final decision to name our company “Wilson Visionary
Productions,” we had to first define and lay out what the word
“visionary” meant to us. We also had to take a close look within
ourselves to determine whether or not we embodied the essence of
that definition inside and out. Wow! What an incredible and humbling journey it is to self discovery. We have come to define the word “vision” as being foresight based on divine insight. Therefore, any true vision begins with revelation based on purpose. Obviously, purpose is the source of vision. This is what we believe the biblical saying “Deep calling unto Deep” is referring to. How amazing is this? Every vision that God has, and continues to place within our hearts, no matter how farfetched or out of reach they seem to be, are glimpses of what is in His own heart concerning our predetermined future kingdom purpose. He revealed the end prior to the beginning by igniting our passion for the future via the visions He has placed within our hearts. In our journey to define the word “vision," somehow, we had begun to see the future with our mind's eye. Imagine what it must have felt like for us to begin receiving this supernatural revelation regarding our future and be currently living our lives exponentially beneath our purpose and destiny. We were not waking up every day with a sense of excitement and anticipation because we had started to realize that we were not doing what we were born to do. It also became evident that our current work life was not a match for our God-given abilities or personalities. Worded simply, our lives were not consistent with what our visions had become. What started out as a seemingly simple task of naming a company evolved into an abundant revelation, which now made it crystal clear that our lives needed to change in order for us to be true reflections of what we intended on naming our company. Now, having become more grounded in the Word of God, we knew that every human being has been given the awesome gift of life to accomplish a specific and unique predestined purpose. According to His Word, that purpose was intended to be a utilization of the gifts and talents that He has freely given to us. Knowing that every person was born to accomplish and walk in the manifestation of an extraordinary purpose and vision that the world must stand up and take notice of, something that makes each individual perpetually valuable, made it impossible for us to settle for mediocrity. MJ and I both knew that we had been given gifts and talents that the world must make room for. We had become certain that if we, by faith, just began to take steps to walk in the power of those gifts, God would enable us to fulfill the visions that were given to us by Him. Amazingly, as we began to exercise our gifts and talents, we also began to develop a clear portrait and powerful mental image of what we wanted our future to look like. We had started to become passionate and energized about the vision of our future. At this point, we were more convinced than ever that our visions and talents were perfectly in alignment with, and based on, our purpose. As a result, fulfilling our purpose became our passion. When an individual is guided by true passion, based on purpose, nothing and no one can stop them from reaching success. We had made the choice that, from this point on, we were going to stay dedicated to living our personal and professional life in purpose and destiny, by remaining committed to and passionate about our visions. True vision is about stretching reality
beyond its present state. Therefore, true visionaries are
individuals that see and constantly press toward their glimpses of a
predestined future that God wills to manifest through them. Having
said that, we are not, nor will we ever again, be satisfied with
maintaining the status quo. Our lives, personal and professional,
were designed to be continuously focused on, and moving toward, the
future. We can now, with the utmost confidence, wisdom, and pride, name our company Wilson Visionary Productions. It is truly who we are, inside and out. Regardless of any obstacles that may appear. Regardless of anything that would appear to disagree with what we know to be God’s purpose for our lives. We are passionate about and are committed to Wilson Visionary Productions being a company established upon and operating within the principles of God’s Kingdom's purposes for ourselves and everyone with whom we do business. It is and always will be a company that is a vessel for God to bless us and allow us the resources to be a blessing in the lives of others. That, my friends, is what’s in a name. |
